Individual Therapy

At different times in our life we may find ourselves in relationships or situations that lead to feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and confusion. Sometimes these feelings become overwhelming and we find ourselves in need of added support outside of our family and friends. Often people tell me they have trouble sharing their true feelings and struggles or they feel they are becoming a burden to the people in their lives. Through therapy you can become honest with yourself and develop new ways to express and understand your feelings, thoughts, needs, and concerns. Therapy can help in managing and coping with various emotions and life struggles while developing more effective ways to cope and manage current concerns. I take an honest, caring, and direct approach that people tell me makes them feel comfortable. The most important factor that affects success in therapy is the relationship that develops between the client and therapist. I will focus on helping you identify and work on your goals and resolve issues that are negatively affecting your emotional health, relationships, and present life. I appreciate you taking the time to view my website and I look forward to the opportunity to help you.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a shared therapeutic experience that involves the presence of a trained professional and others who are working through similar issues. This collaborative form of healing can focus on interpersonal relationships or on particular concerns shared by group members.

Humans are social beings.  The group therapy modality often provides healing and change for people much faster and more effectively.  I have experience providing group therapy in areas including: Women’s issues, grief, attachment/relational work, depression/mood disorders, anxiety, family communication and adolescent behavioral modification.

Women’s Group (Online)

Now more than possibly ever, women need and want a healing space that is dedicated to them. My hope is to make a safe container to allow the brave women in our group to work on their personal growth with other women. Members are strongly encouraged to both support and challenge each other. I use an experiential approach of working with each person as they chose to come into the process. It is an exciting way of learning to claim more of yourself within the relationships which develop during our time together. All members of the group must have individual therapy experience.

Meets on Wednesdays twice monthly 12:30-2:00pm virtually

Weekly Psychotherapy Group

This group is for members who have been in individual therapy and want a place to practice what they know about themselves. It is best suited for persons who have an interest in their interpersonal growth. The main idea is to continue their work in a relational context. Best efforts are made to stay here and now knowing history will come into the room. Group is a great way to learn more about who you are and how you function in relationship. This ongoing psychotherapy group allows each person to engage for as long as they wish to belong. This group is co-ed.

Meets Weekly on Tuesdays 11:30am-1:00pm virtually
